What happens to your photos?
Updated October 18, 2026Editing and saved work
Adding photos, adjusting text and style, using the brush, and exporting happen in your browser. Your batch, original files and completed cutouts are saved in this browser on this device. They do not sync to another device. Clearing browser data removes them.
Optional background removal
Only when you choose removal and agree, SwiftBatch prepares a copy up to 2,000 pixels on its longest edge and sends it over HTTPS through our Cloudflare server to Photoroom. The copy is re-encoded without the original filename or embedded camera metadata. The photograph itself may still contain personal information. Your original file is unchanged.
Photoroom processes that copy using its Remove Background API. Read Photoroom’s privacy policy and API data-handling information for its current policies.
Recovery and usage records
SwiftBatch keeps a temporary result in Cloudflare’s cache for up to one hour to recover an interrupted request. Recovery may be unavailable if the cache is cleared or you reconnect through another server. Results are not added to a public gallery. Completed cutouts are also saved locally with your draft.
The usage database stores random request identifiers, a fingerprint of the processed file, timestamps and processing status. It does not store the photo, your product wording or original filename. These records prevent duplicate processing and enforce the shared limit of 1,000 removals per billing month. Network providers receive normal connection information needed to deliver the service.
Your choices
Keep originals or use the manual Erase / restore brush to avoid cloud removal. Stop prevents sending the next photos; an image already sent may still complete and count. Reusing a saved cutout across shop and social versions does not use another removal. The guided demo does not send its sample photos to Photoroom.
Optional feedback
The feedback link opens Google Forms. Answers you submit are stored there; SwiftBatch does not attach your photos to that form.
